शायद ही किसी राजनीतिक चिंतक का बौद्धिक स्तर इस बात पर पहुंचे परन्तु पूर्ण सत्य यह है कि उत्तर-पूर्व भारत एक प्राकृतिक संसाधन संपन्न जनजातीय क्षेत्र है जिसके संसाधनों का दोहन और संविधान द्वारा संरक्षित जनजातीय अधिकारों का शोषण करने के लिए पूंजीपतियों को वहाँ बहुलता-विरोधी राष्ट्रवादी तथा पूंजीपति-हितैषी सरकारों की ज़रूरत है, सो यह सीधा-साधा पूंजीपतियों द्वारा लोकतंत्र के छलावे में तंत्र के तत्वों में निवेश व भ्रष्टाचार कर के लाया गया सत्ता परिवर्तन है जो केवल उनके व्यापारिक हित साधने में सहायक होगा ।
