Dear ex-Justice Katju, Though I find logic in your views here but contradiction in what you practice. As an example, you said, Promotion of worshiping a Hindu God from a household affair to a public event is communal job because Muslims can't participate, I agree, but then how the promoting the personal resistance of Roza by Muslim as a public event and asking non-muslims or even non-believers to observe same is not a communal exercise? One may support someone's freedom of faith, that is otherwise a human right endeavour, but asking someone to observe the faith of other is violation of freedom of faith, a fundamental right, of that one. This is no way secularism in any sense, but communalization in disguise. In this manner, I am sorry but, you too have served for the same interests of divide and rule, and acted as 'agent' of British or rather present oppressive incumbents, but yes 'objectively' as you said and explained..
