He has also asked for the compliance of same on their respective websites. Along with that, Kawaldeep Singh has asked about the details of all the salaried post that exist with SGPC and under the organizations managed by it, including their service, salary and all applicable regulations governing them. It was also asked about in the RTI application about the selection procedure, qualification, experience requirements, etc. for all the posts available with SGPC and its managed organizations along with details of all such selection processes happened till date since notification of RTI Act. Kawaldeep Singh has questioned the SGPC about the rules and regulations of transfer, promotion, salary increments, procedure of relieving and removing employees working with SGPC for all such salaried posts available with SGPC and its children organizations. In same RTI application, SGPC is also questioned about the criminal records of all of its employees who are working on various posts in its organizational structure. Kawaldeep Singh commented on the purpose of this RTI application filed by him as, "SGPC is the first democratic organization built in this country, through related to management of Sikh religious institutions, which was devised in British India under the Sikh Gurdwara Act, 1925 of then Punjab Legislative Council, which gave universal suffrage to all its (Sikh) electorate to select a legal body to manage the affairs of their religious organizations through will of their electorate in transparent manner and in interest of all electorate for their general welfare. SGPC in itself was given a status of some kind of mini Parliament within the then Indian state. All this exercise was not just an effort of one day. There is a long history of long Gurdwara movement and unending list of selfless sacrifices behind that where common Sikh followers gave a lot of sacrifices to get their religious institutions free from the clutches of the corrupt, immoral and autocrat Mahants who were managing the properties of Sikh Gurdwaras as their affairs in their own welfare and were looting the common Sikh followers religiously and financially. The SGPC was established to replace that corrupt system, then, and bring transparency in the Gurdwara Management Affairs. But the situations have taken a complete round turn in context of today. Now SGPC itself has become fountainhead and warehouse of corruption in religious affairs due politicization of all the management of SGPC with no transparency left in it. Common followers are totally hurt by such huge level of corruption and immorality in the mananagement of their religious places. My endeavors are to take the refuge of law of land to bring transparency in this whole religio-management system. This is just first step toward it, and I would file chain of many such information requests in future also to bring transparency in the affairs of SGPC. I would call for the support of all like-minded individuals and organizations to come forward and join me in these endeavours." He added that this movement for transparency in management of Sikh Gurdwara affairs if gains support of various concerned organizations working in this field would pave the way for next level of Gurdwara Sudhar Lehar.
