Your (Ex-)Lordship, an Apex Court Judge or a Judge in High Court has the power of Suo-Motto Cognizance to be used to take the matter before him when there is any violation of Law, Justice and Constitution. It is not only the power vested with but the Duty (Kartavya) to act when violations of such are happening right under the nose, in the very same perspective of Gita !
