Kanwal Speaks - September 23, 2014 at 11:07PM

One of my wise-friend appended स्त्रियों का सम्मान करें when he gave his "to-do list of wise things" to be done on daily basis ranging from सुबह जल्दी उठें to पूजा करें and सदा सच बोलें to किसी का दिल मत दुखाएं....

I don't know whether he would have felt offended or not but I couldn't stop myself from asking few questions when felt a tone of social misandry spoon-fed alike to us in a big overdose all over our lives. I just asked:

Why only स्त्रियों का सम्मान करें, would this sentence going to complete itself as और पुरुषों का अपमान करें तो भी चलेगा ? Why are we so much misandric even in such small things? I am not against in any sense to the idea of respecting women but its that it is to be at par with their fellow human beings in opposite gender, so why couldn't it be सब का सम्मान करें i.e. respect all human beings or all life forms?

Why are our minds been made to fill since our childhoods to give "fair gender" a privileged treatment while the so "unfair gender" considered to be constituted with born criminals or alike who deserve no or less respect in comparison like अरे ज़रूर उस आदमी (लड़के) की ही गलती होगी whenever we have to pick any side even without any need at all in any situation in general (and that too without knowing anything in background like a judgement is already been pronounced by taking birth in one particular gender)?
