The street roads in Dooma Wali Gali, Near Adalat Bazar, Patiala had been dug down by a J.E. in Municipal Corporation Patiala for laying some dedicated water line to his own house and had been left as forgotten in a very pitiful condition since then with piles of dugout material lying on the otherwise damaged road of the street due to the very digging work which could cause any unfortunate accident in addition to blocking the regular moment in the area in an already congested lane and thereby causing extreme inconvenience to the residents of the locality and around. A complaint dated 08.12.2015 in this regard has been made by the applicant, Kawaldeep Singh, with Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Patiala along with Sh. Sukhbir Singh Badal, Deputy Chief Minister, Punjab, Secretory, Department of Local Government, Punjab and Director, Town Planning, Punjab, with a request for building the roads in street on urgent basis to end the due inconvenience being faced by the citizens of this whole area due to the unruly act of an official of Municipal Corporation of Patiala. Additional issues immerged due to continuation of digging work by unrelenting official, to cover up matter then after this complaint in connivance and patronization of local MC and the senior officers in the Municipal Corporation Patiala, so thus a rejoinder complaint has been sent to same offices on 10.12.2015. Any action both of the complaints on same is pending till date. Notice of Hearing been issued by State Information Commission Punjab as the matter of Second Appeal is listed with same as filed against the First Appellate Authority and Public Information Officer, O/o Secretary, Local Government, Punjab under the clause of life and liberty as no order has been passed by concerned Appellate Authority on the First Appeal filed u/s 19(1) of the RTI Act, 2005 with the applicability of clause of life and liberty which was thus to be decided within 48 hours, in regard to the non-receiving of any reply in the matter of a request for information been filed u/s 7(1) of the Act with Public Information Officer in the same department for providing the certified records of any action been taken on the complaints as abovesaid, under the clause of life and liberty and had to be answered within 48 hours as this matter is related to the concerns of safety of the General Public. 28.12.2015 - December 28, 2015 at 08:33PM
