Kanwal Speaks - December 20, 2015 at 12:00AM

Those who are simply creating a hoopla out of a non-issue of the release of the (then) juvenile convict in Jyoti Rathore's case and foul crying injustice like some ill-informed idiots, they first need to know it very clearly that the very convict had not been given a let go, in any case, in any manner. It is rather that he was convicted by the due procedure of law, and then was sentenced with the maximum possible term as per the law of the land in a jail / reformation centre as applicable in his case, which he was actually made to serve completely. Now he is being released after completion of his punishment, only, not as a mercy of any kind. Just give a thought if some closed one of yours be convicted in some crime and be sentenced to jail for a period then wouldn't you be among the ones who would demand that the prisoner who had completed one's terms be released ? He is, therefore, another human being too, so thus, he too has the same rights to start a new life after serving the very punishment of his due crime(s) as pronounced under the applicable law of land without any bias. #Kanwal
