Kanwalosophy: A partial reply (third reply) sent by the Directorate of Advertising and Visual Publicity, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India to an RTI application asking the information in regard to the expenditure on advertisements of all the ministries / departments of Government of India, in various modes of media. In this reply the certain details for planned and non-planned expenditure are provided: (i) ONLY for the financial year of 2015-16 and (ii) ONLY for one Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, though the Information was asked for all the financial years for the period from date of notification of the RTI Act, 2005 till the disposal of this application, and that too only after sending of memorandum directly to the Director DAVP, after the initial totally wrong and unrelated information and then second memorandum for pointing out the incomplete information been sent as reply. In this reply, the expenditure figures are also CORRECTED from LAKHS of rupees to CRORES of Rupees for Planned Expenditure for Financial Year 2015-16. 21.07.2015
