The Supreme Court on Thursday permitted the states to exercise their power to remit the sentences of life convicts if they have already served more than 14 years imprisonment. ............................................................................... If Punjab's Badals are really concerned about the human rights violations of the political prisoners in Punjab and thus of the resulting tensed situations due to it, as they are claiming so, they should now act fast, before any situation getting worst.
