PIO President SGPC to information within 2 weeks: SIC Punjab SIC Punjab ordered the PIO, President SGPC to provide information to the complainant Sh. Kawaldeep Singh within 2 weeks in an order dated 15.01.2015, in a complaint case filed by the complainant aggrieved from not providing reply to his RTI application by the respondent. In its reply to SIC, Sh. Simarjit Singh, GPA appeared on behalf of the respondent pleaded that information asked by the complainant been third party information, and the third party has written to their department that her court cases are pending in different courts so that her personal information may not be provided, so thus couldn't be provided. However the honourable information commissioner overruled the department after perusal of the records and finding the information as not a third party information. The information commissioner ordered to provide the sought information as available in the records of the department before the next date i.e. 29.01.2015, and also acknowledged that factum of lapse of time on part of the respondent and had warned for action under the section 20 (1) to the respondent from PIO, O/o President SGPC.
